The 2019 Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize is a Sydney based, international prize celebrating original, creative, freestanding and contemporary small sculpture with a maximum dimension of 80cm. The call for entries has now opened and closes on Friday 5 July 2019. Established in 2001, now in its 19th year, the Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize attracts strong support from artists, collectors and critics worldwide. The prize awards AUD$24,000 over four prizes with the main award an acquisitive prize of AUD$20,000 acquired into the Council's permanent public collection that will be displayed all year round for the community to enjoy for free. In 2018 we had 666 entries from Australia and around the world and 45 finalists were selected to participate in an exhibition of finalists. This year’s exhibition will take place from Saturday 11 October to Sunday 3 November 2019 at the historic Woollahra Council Chambers in Double Bay, Sydney, Australia.
