We are excited to announce the 49th year of the Paperworks juried exhibition at Minot State University. Formed in 1970 with the intent of enhancing . the visual arts experiences of students, the campus and the regional art community with exposure to contemporary trends, and to build a teaching fine art collection, the Americas 2000 exhibitions continually attract cutting-edge national and international entries every year. We are grateful to the many artists who have shared their work and passion for art with our audiences and invite you to join them in 2020.
What Makes this event different?
Americas 2020: Paperworks is a show juried by Christina Z. Anderson; a nontraditional photographer who focuses on the family snapshot, gender identity, the altered landscape, and contemporary 19th century photogenic process
Original works in any medium, on or of paper, traditional or experimental, including photographs, qualify. Work must have been completed within the last two years and not previously exhibited in an Americas 2000 exhibition. Entries will be judged from high resolution electronic images. Cash and purchase awards. Solo show for Best of Show. Entry fee: 2 entries $30; additional entries $5 each. Maximum of five entries per artist. 30% commission on sales.
