100% OF SALES GO TO THE ARTIST! In the event that any of the displayed artwork is sold, the artist receives 100% of the sale price. Unarthodox will make the initial introduction. Any and all negotiations will be made between the buyer and the artist. All art sale inquiries that are made through our website, will be directed to the artist. Unarthodox will not and does not take any commissions for work sold due to exposure in the F. The Art World Competition. 

Copyright Policy

Copyrights: All of the images submitted are the images of original artwork created by the submitted artist or are artworks created by an artist who authorized you to submit the images on his/her behalf. For the Street Art category, an pgotograph of the image can be submitted. See HERE for specifications All submitted images do not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity. You may not post, distribute, or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights. Without limiting our rights, it is our policy to terminate all relations with any artist who infringes copyright upon our receipt of a notice of infringement from the copyright owner or the copyright owner’s legal counsel.

Image Usage Rights

Usage of Images: We will have the right to publish images of your artwork selected by the jurors on our websites and other advertising channels to promote future competitions and your artwork.

Unarthodox is calling on you, amateur and professional artists, to participate and win a chance to show your art to the world!

F The Art World is an annual art competition where fine artists, photographers, digital artists, street artists, and sculptors compete for a chance to be exhibited in New York City for an entire week!

Artwork will NOT be judged on the technique and professional skill, but on the interpretation and depth of the subject matter.

THEME OF 2019 COMPETITION

A Competition About Change

How do you see humanity? How would you change it? Or would you? Show your interpretation of positive change through visual storytelling. The good and the bad of human behavior and how it affects the world we live in.

AWARD

A winner in each category above will get the opportunity to exhibit their work in the group art show at the Unarthodox Gallery in Chelsea, New York City for an entire week!   All other participants' artwork will be displayed in a large projection during the opening ceremony. All winners will also be announced in the Unarthodox social media accounts, newsletter and both local and international media channels.

Competition is hosted and organized by Unarthodox.

JURORS

The panel of Jurors is average professionals, everyday people of different walks of life from countries throughout the world. Jurors represent different countries including  France, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Brazil, Uruguay, England, Japan, New Zealand, and The United States.

Our judges are not art professionals. We believe that artwork should not be judged by professional art critics, but by people who appreciate art and are not tainted by the "rules, regulations and expectations" of the art establishment.

We are looking for true expression from amateur and professional artists without intimidation or restrictions.

SUBMISSIONS

Artwork in the following disciplines is accepted:

  • Fine Art /Mixed Media - Acrylic, oil, watercolor, charcoal, photography and various other materials.
  • Photography - digital and traditional -  Raw and manipulated photography may be used.
  • Sculpture - All mediums are accepted.
  • Digital Arts - Computer generated art.
  • Street Art (photograph)
