This show routinely features approximately 100 artists from the DMV region.
What Makes this event different?
Located in a transformed historic, Civil War-era hospital, Hill Center Galleries is now a vibrant home for arts, culture, and city life. Near the US Capitol building, the Galleries features 14-foot ceilings and 8-foot windows, which bring in beautiful natural light to showcase the artwork. Hundreds of people attend events in our space every single day.
This is an open call to artists, which will consider original hanging work, in any medium, and any size. No specific themes required. Artwork must be able to hang using a cable-and-hook system. All artwork will be for sale.
The exhibit will be juried by Myrtis Bedolla, who is the owner of Galerie Myrtis in Baltimore, MD.
She will be awarding three cash prizes of $1000, $750, and $500, plus five Honorable Mentions.

Opening Reception with Juror and Artists: February 5, 6:30-8:30pm
