Call for entries opportunity for photographers.
The Meitar Award for Excellence in photography is a collaboration between PHOTO IS:RAEL and the Zvi and Ofra Meitar Family Fund. This award is granted to a body of work which demonstrates excellence in the field of photography.
An independent jury will be selecting 20 finalists who will be showcased in a group exhibition at the International Photography Festival in November 2019 in Tel-Aviv. Following the festival in Tel-Aviv, the finalists 'exhibit will travel to another festival in the world. All work is judged anonymously based on originality and quality. The winning body of work that is selected by the jurists will be based on their opinion and what has the potential to form a part of an upcoming solo exhibition.
The award winner will be announced this coming November during the festival and will receive a $14,000 grant, composed of a personal grant of $2,500 and production of a solo exhibition that will be part of the 2020 International Photography Festival.
The entry fee is $54.
