What Makes this event different?
NPAF has managed residencies at Hawaii Volcanoes for 8 years. This AiR includes a large spacious house, a generous stipend and the chance to work and live in the most incredible volcanic landscape in the USA.
Copyright Policy
Yes, but a single work may/will be eligible for donation to the National Park Service Art Collection.
Image Usage Rights
Selections of your work (digital copies) will be used to promote your residency online.
Call to both artists and photographers for an artist residency at HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK.
Currently open: 1 residency over the Winter Holidays, (the DEADLINE to apply: September 7th, 2019) and 3 residencies for the Summer of 2020. (the DEADLINE to apply: November 7th, 2019)
Each residency includes a $2000 USD stipend.
The residencies feature park access and a large comfortable house to live and work in. A car is required.
