Artist Residency Program
As part of the celebrations of its 135th anniversary, the Ottawa School of Art (OSA) is pleased to announce the launch of its artists residency program. During this first year OSA will accept a maximum of 2 artists per studio at any time from June 1 to August 31. The minimum residency time will be 2 weeks and the maximum residency will be 6 weeks.The purpose of the artist residency program is to provide artists with the opportunity to devote uninterrupted time to their artwork in the supportive and stimulating environment at OSA.
The residency program will be located at the ByWard Market campus where artists will have access to specialized studios for ceramics, printmaking and sculpture. Resident artists will have access to these studios during the school’s regular hours of operation (i.e. they will not have 24 hour access).
