We are inviting submissions of art posters on the subject HUMAN RIGHTS as they relate to fracking and climate change.
The Environmental Arts and Humanities Initiative and Spring Creek Project are co-organizing the international Permanent Peoples' Tribunal on Human Rights, Fracking and Climate Change. This will take place in May 2018 online and at Oregon State University. The tribunal aims to clarify the human-rights impacts of fracking and climate change and to affirm international standards of human rights obligations.
Selected posters will be exhibited at The Whiteside Theater and possibly the Optic Gallery and/or other venues in Corvallis during events supporting the tribunal. Depending on the response, we may also compile selected images into a book.
Send your digital file to us and WE WILL PRINT selected posters for the exhibit. We will be sharing some of the images on Environmental Arts and Humanities and Spring Creek Project social media accounts and websites. Please submit high quality TIFF or JPG files at Submittable. Make your image file 300 dpi at 11” by 17”.
Deadline is May 1 but the sooner we receive them, the more chances that your image will be shared online.
