Image Usage Rights

By submission for jurying, artists whose submissions are chosen for the exhibition grant Mills Pond Gallery the right to use properly credited accepted images for the purpose of marketing the exhibition and for display on the gallery’s website. Artists grant the use of their image(s) as stated without further contact or compensation from the Gallery. All images used for website or press will properly credit the artist and include any artist copyright info that you include. If you do not send 300 DPI images, we will not include your images in press materials.

Art Call: The Colors of the Night - Entry Deadline: July 12, 2017. Exhibition Dates: August 19 -Sept. 30

The Smithtown Township Arts Council welcomes submissions for its upcoming juried fine art exhibition titled: "The Colors of the Night". The exhibition will be held at Mills Pond Gallery. The juror is Tim Newton. This art contest is open to all USA artists who are 18 or older. Artists may submit all media with the exception of photography and computer generated art. Work must be original and must have been completed within the past 3 years. 

"This exhibition/competition will encompass all varieties of nocturnal art. Twilight/Dusk, Dawn, Urban, Interiors, Landscapes, Figures etc. are all possibilities. No subject is off limits. My expectations will be, among other things - Originality/Creativity, Good Design, and Skillful Execution within your Medium.” Tim Newton

The entry fee is $45 for up to 3 images.  Awards: $1,000 Best of Show, $500 Second Place, $250 Third Place.
