Every month more than fifty artists and writers join us on our historic campus in northern Vermont. Residents hail from the USA and abroad. Admission is competitive and is based on review of your portfolio or manuscript. Most residents stay with us for the time period of one month, however, residencies can be scheduled in 2-week increments ranging from 2 to 12 weeks if a shorter or longer stay is needed.

All of our residencies include the following a private room in modest shared housing, access to private studio space 24/7 in one of our 6 medium-specific studio buildings, and three communal meals daily (plus coffee/tea/cold beverages, fresh fruit, and cereal available around the clock)

We accept general applications year-round, and offer three fellowship deadlines during the year:

• February 15th
• June 15th
• October 1st
