Rules

• OpenCall is available to everyone internationally         
• The winner will be awarded the ‘Artist Of The Month’ 
• Submissions are only digital
• Submitted images should be large-size jpeg or png images (roughly 2500 pixels or above)
• Cropped images to show only the artwork or frames, material, other backgrounds and watermarks are unacceptable.
• Images should be clear, without glares and in focus.
• Works will be judged buy our jury based on creativity, originality, quality of work, and overall artistic ability.
• Winners will be chosen based on the quality of single entry as well as quality of overall work.

 

Selected Artists

• Artist will be promoted throughout our social accounts and our Website and also on our monthly Digital Magazine for a month.
• Artist's information like website, social links, biography/statement will be shared alongside with the artworks provided.
• The winning images will be seen by international audience of media editors, our artist base, talent agents, galleries, collectors etc...
• Artist will be promoted to our wide-spread social media

 

Artists who submitted works

• All artists will be considered for any future curatorial projects for that following month. Not only limited to publications, exhibitions, fairs and gallery projects.
• Submitted works can be promoted to our social media & website if desired.

 

Copyright

• Artist retains the sole copyright for the images
• Submitted images can be available for public viewing on the Marvelous Art Gallery's website and social media, including in relation to promotional activities for the contest and the business. 
• All display works will be credited with their artist’s name

 

Miscellaneous

• All fees must be paid by PayPal.
• Submission fees support the administrative costs and helping provide opportunities for artists.
• All artist submissions require a jury fee. There will be two options fur submissions;

       - 1-3 Artworks £10,  
       - 3 or more Artworks £15

• Artist can submit more than once if they would like more artworks to be considered.
• Entry fees are NOT refundable and do NOT guarantee entry into the exhibition.
• All purchase inquiries will be referred directly back to the artist.

 

Policy

• Once the submission deadline has been reached, no image substitutions or changes will be permitted.
• All artwork must be original and not done with help from teachers or be copied from work by other artists or photographers.
• Artwork that's offensive, vulgar, distasteful or negative in any way against humans or animals is unacceptable.
• Artwork that is political or has a political message is unacceptable.
• All decisions regarding winners are final.
• Artists' personal contact information will not be shared with external parties or groups (if this is expected to be shown by the artist, gallery should be informed).
• Marvelous Art Gallery reserves the right to cancel, extend or change the contest dates or content at any time.
