What Makes this event different?
Time and again CENTER alumni are provided with direct outcomes from participating in our review events, and receiving our grants or awards.
Image Usage Rights
USAGE: The photographer always retains the rights to their submitted images. By completing the application, the photographer grants CENTER permission, upon receiving an Award, Grant, or invitation to Review Santa Fe, to reproduce works from their submitted materials in connection with the administration, judging, and promotion of CENTER, the Awards, Grants, and portfolio review events. Permissible uses of the images submitted shall include their reproduction, distribution, and display in CENTER exhibitions, multimedia presentations, and printed materials related to the promotion of CENTER and the Awards, Grants, and events. CENTER shall have the right to grant permissions to the press and publicity agents in connection with the promotion of the CENTER Awards, exhibitions, and related events. Each year, all of the Award and Grant recipients, including the Honorable Mentions, are asked to donate a print to CENTER.

• $5K PROJECT LAUNCH GRANT: The Project Launch Grant provides financial support to a complete or nearly completed documentary project or fine art series.
SUBMIT: 15-20 images and a 325-word project statement
JUROR: Grace Deveney – David C. & Sarajean Ruttenberg Associate Curator of Photography & Media, Art Institute of Chicago
PACKAGE: $5,000, Mentorship, Professional Development Workshop Admission, Review Santa Fe Admission, Public Project Presentation during Review Santa Fe, Featured Publication with Lenscratch, and Permanent Online Exhibition with CENTER as an alum.
