CENTER enters its 28th year supporting dedicated photographers and lens-based artists with project funding, awards, career advancement, exhibitions, and more.

What Makes this event different?

CENTER alumni are time and again provided with direct outcomes from attending our review events, and receiving our grants or awards.

Image Usage Rights

USAGE: The photographer always retains the rights to their submitted images. By completing the application, the photographer grants CENTER permission, upon receiving an Award, Grant, or invitation to Review Santa Fe, to reproduce works from their submitted materials in connection with the administration, judging, and promotion of CENTER, the Awards, Grants, and portfolio review events. Permissible uses of the images submitted shall include their reproduction, distribution, and display in CENTER exhibitions, multimedia presentations, and printed materials related to the promotion of CENTER and the Awards, Grants, and events. CENTER shall have the right to grant permissions to the press and publicity agents in connection with the promotion of the CENTER Awards, exhibitions, and related events. Each year, all of the Award and Grant recipients, including the Honorable Mentions, are asked to donate a print to CENTER.•

• EXCELLENCE IN MULTIMEDIA STORYTELLING: The Excellence in Multimedia Storytelling Award recognizes outstanding storytellers using lens-based media to create narrative-driven projects. The award is open, but not limited to, photography, video, new media, photojournalism, installation, and web-based works. Projects that inspire social action, document crucial issues, and amplify underrepresented voices are encouraged to apply.

SUBMIT: 1-6 files* and a 325-word project statement | *Additional files are $5 each
PACKAGE: Mentorship, Review Santa Fe Admission, Public Project Presentation during Review Santa Fe, Featured Publication with Lenscratch, and Permanent Online Exhibition with CENTER as an alum.
