Event History
This is the 9th edition of this event and the chosen theme is "Own Universes." Our intention is to present more personal and introspective works than in previous years. Each year we have managed to gather more than 50 exhibitions, some by first-rate photographers. The festival generates many synergies, other exhibitions, and great friendships emerge. Despite the difficult past year and the uncertainty of the near future, we want to reaffirm our commitment to analog photography and culture, making this call for the ninth edition of the festival, which will take place from September 18 to October 12.

Probably the best and biggest analog photography festival in the world ;-)
Copyright Policy
The rights to the work will remain the property of the author or authors. Participants in the Call must confirm that they are the authors and copyright owners of all images submitted and that their entries do not infringe the privacy, copyright or any other rights of any person. The participant guarantees that they have the explicit consent of all the people who appear in the images submitted (the legal guardian, in the case of children) to display and publish the images as described in these terms and conditions. By participating, all the selected works may be reproduced by AFE / REVELA’T 2021 in any of its publications, websites and social networks and / or in any promotional material that is referenced or credited only for promotional use (not for Commercial use). 2 to 3 images of each selected entry may be released to the press to promote the REVELA’T 2021 Festival and be used in any media before, during and after, without any restriction in relation to the aforementioned uses.
Image Usage Rights
Revela-T will insure the works during the Festival period. Assembly, exhibition and disassembly will be covered, but it is not responsible for any damage that may occur during transport.
During this unusual year we have learned to value certain things (more) that perhaps we had forgotten, time has taken on a new dimension, and we have possibly used time to do what always demanded a better moment, we may even have become more creative than before … but, above all, we have learned that culture and art are the food of our soul.
In 2021 we will focus on showing images, perhaps more introspective, more personal, more authoritative, philias or phobias, obsessions, and that which we have not stopped doing repeatedly (photography) that we realize defines us, that shows our own universe.
Their own universes, in the plural, because each one has its own. This motto is very broad and can accommodate many and very different themes, it is open to all kinds of projects and proposals.
It’s up to you. Without fear. What job is the one that would best define you as a photographer? That is the one we want to see, show us, participate in the ninth edition with great photographers and many other exhibitions.
Surely we will see many small-format works, intimate and emotional works, but we will also take to the streets, allowing ourselves the licence of technical hybridization to see large formats, and also, why not ?, collections (which are already their own universes), installations, montages, we would like to explore other formats, tell us what you do …
