Copyright Policy

The image must have been taken by the submitter. Your images must be submitted as jpeg files without a watermark. The submitted image must have been taken in 2021. The metadata of the file will be inspected to ensure qualification. The capture date will be published on the website along with the image.

Image Usage Rights

The owners of the winning images give permission for their image to be used for the purposes of promoting the Pangolin Photo Challenge. All entrants give permission to Pangolin Photo Safaris to display their image on the Pangolin Photo Safaris website and social media channels. The winners also agree, should they deem fit, to allow Pangolin to display their credited image in the gallery of The Pangolin Chobe Hotel

The Pangolin Photo Challenge invites you to get out and practice your wildlife photography to stand the chance to win 1 of 6 Botswana Wildlife Photography safaris as well as lots of other prizes. Open to wildlife photographers from around the world.

For your entry to qualify into the competitiion, we are asking you for a donation to our non-profit organisation, Pangolin.Africa. We are not prescribing how much you donate, however all proceeds are going directly to help our efforts in protecting one of the world's most trafficked and endangered species, the African Pangolin. There are four wildlife photography challenges in the Pangolin Photo Challenge 2021:

- Birds of the world

- Black and White Mammal

- Behaviour

- Creative Captures

Each round will be judged by top wildlife photographers and The Pangolin Photo Hosts. The winner will receive a 5-day stay at the Pangolin Chobe Hotel (https://www.pangolinphoto.com/places/chobe-hotel) and the runner up will get $2000 vouchers with the people's vote winner getting a $1000 voucher.

In the end, each entrant will hopefully have a portfolio of four wildlife photography images which will be entered into the final round and judged as one portfolio. the winner of this round will win a 10 day Chobe, Delta and Kalahari Safari for two people.(https://www.pangolinphoto.com/safaris/10-day-chobe-delta-and-kalahari-hosted-photo-safari)
