Event History
The Saint Louis Photography Club has been offering excursions, classes, workshops, critiques and weekly challenges to its 2000 members since 2011. This year marks the 6th annual photography contest. We seek 101 great finalists to participate in our week-long annual photography exhibition. Each year three experienced judges rank hundreds of submissions from photographers throughout the city and surrounding areas. What Makes this event different?
Though sponsored by the Saint Louis Photography Club and its 2000 members, this event is open to everyone who lives within 150 miles of the City of Saint Louis, Missouri, regardless of their age. Our event finishes the exhibit week with a presentation of the critiques by the judges, with the goal of encouraging and challenging participants to continue to grow in their craft.
Copyright Policy
Other than allowing the Saint Louis Photography Club and its sponsors to use the finalists' images for promotion of current and future photography contests, the photographers who submit images for judging retain all rights to their photographs.
Image Usage Rights
The Saint Louis Photography Club and its sponsors will use submitted images solely to promote current and future photography contests held by the Saint Louis Photography Club.
This is the sixth annual Saint Louis Photography Club photo contest.
The competition is now accepting entries!
All photographers living within 150 miles of Saint Louis, Misouri, may submit whether professional or amateur.
Entries need to be received via mail or in person by 6pm January 23, 2021, judging will take place in February, finalists will be notified by March 10, exhibit of finished prints to open April 3 and close April 10.
Photos must have been taken in 2020.
