What Makes this event different?

ABOUT THE CENTER FOR FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY The center was founded in 2004 by photographers, and is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) photography organization. We provide support to photographic artists through portfolio reviews, exhibitions, promotion, publication, education and through connections to a large community of other artists, gallery owners, curators, and photographic professionals.

Copyright Policy

Submitting artists retain all copyrights to their own images.

Image Usage Rights

Artist’s recognition is provided with any use. By submission for jurying, artists whose submissions are chosen for the exhibition grant The Center for Fine Art Photography the right to use their images for the purpose of promoting the artist, promoting the Center’s programs, promoting exhibitions and subsequent display on the Center’s website of current and past exhibitions. Promotions and images may also be placed on social networks for The Center for Fine Art Photography with artist credit.

We love small photographs that become coveted art objects. The works selected for this exhibition, must be no larger than twelve inches. All subjects, genres, capture types and photographic processes both modern and historic as well as mixed media and unique presentations are eligible for selection by the juror.

This call is open to all photographers worldwide for both professional and amateurs. The Center invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate.

JUROR | Kat Kiernan

Kiernan is the Editor-in-Chief of the photography publication Don’t Take Pictures. Kiernan’s writing has been published in Art New England Online, Big, Red, and Shiny, Feature Shoot, Lenscratch and many more. She received the Rising Star Award in 2015 from the Griffin Museum of Photography for her contributions to the photographic community. In 2012, Photoboite Agency named Kiernan one of 30 emerging women photographers under 30 to watch.

Artists selected to exhibit are invited to attend the Artist Immersion Weekend. Immersion Weekends include a public reception followed by a dinner on the town,  a group portfolio share with professional development discussion and private portfolio reviews with the juror, Kat Kiernan and Hamidah Glasgow. Selected artists are included in the Main Gallery Exhibition and the Online Gallery which is seen by an international audience.

Honorable Mention Awards: 1-year membership and submission to a Call for Entry.

Selected artists for the exhibition will also receive: professional installation images for your use, promotion on The Center's large social media platforms, in-gallery and online exhibition with links to artists' websites and press releases are sent to artists' choice of media outlets.

MEMBERS | $29 for the three images
NON-MEMBERS |  $36 for the first three images
ADDITIONAL IMAGES may be submitted for $9 each for members and $10 each for non-members. There is no limit to the number of images that may be submitted.
