What Makes this event different?

All types of imagery as well as photographic processes are eligible. This includes but is not limited to digital captures, film captures, cell phone captures, photo-shopped files, traditional styles, alternative processes, contemporary, conceptual and on! As this is a projection exhibition, all images must be available as a digital file. Prints are not needed.

Copyright Policy

All submitting artists retain all copyrights to their own images.

Image Usage Rights

By submission for jurying, artists whose submissions are chosen for the exhibition grant The Center for Fine Art Photography the right to use their images for the purpose of promoting the artist, promoting the Center’s programs, promoting exhibitions and subsequent display on the Center’s website of current and past exhibitions. Artist’s recognition is provided with any use. Images may be placed on social media by The Center for Fine Art Photography with artist credit.

 

 

Wonder | International Photography Call for Entry

 

Theme | Wonder
Wonder can be thought of as a moment, a feeling, a curiosity, a discovery or an experiment. Wonder can also pertain to the natural world, fascinating cities, capricious animals and the intriguing people around us. When we create an image it is often wonder that inspires us to take a photograph and save the moment.

This is a juried online and projection exhibition. The Center will also produce an exhibition catalog featuring selected artists.  Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to submit. All types of photographic processes and subjects are eligible for selection.


JUROR | JEAN DYKSTRA
Jean Dykstra is the editor of Photograph magazine.  She has written about photography for more than 20 years as a photography critic, editor, and curator.


ARTIST HONORS AND AWARDS: All selected artists’ work is included in both the projected and online exhibitions. The online gallery features artist website links. The Center will also produce an exhibition catalog featuring the selected artists. The Center provides event press release and social media promotions with an audience of 180,000+ followers internationally.

HONORABLE MENTIONS
SUBMISSION | ENTRY FEE
MEMBERS | $24 for the three images.
NON-MEMBERS | $28 for the first three images.
ADDITIONAL IMAGES may be submitted for $6 each for members and $8 each for non-members. There is no limit to the number of images that may be submitted. PayPal payment available upon request.

Projections of the Exhibition will take place during August of 2018 and during Denver Month of Photography in March of 2019.


ABOUT US | The Center for Fine Art Photography is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) photography organization that was founded in 2004 by photographers in Fort Collins, Colorado.  We provide support to photographic artists through exhibition, portfolio reviews, promotion, publication, education and connection to a large community of other artists, gallery owners, curators and photographic professionals.

ELIGIBILITY: The Center for Fine Art Photography calls are open to all photographers world-wide, both amateur and professional. The Center invites photographers who are working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate.  All types of imagery and photographic processes are eligible which includes but is not limited to film captures, digital captures, cell phone captures, traditional styles, photo-shopped, alternative processes, contemporary, conceptual and on! As this is a projection exhibition, all images must be available as a digital file. Prints will not need to be provided.

ACCEPTANCE NOTICE: Everyone who submits will receive an email notification of the selection results. Accepted images will be posted on the Center’s website.
