Curatorial Proposal Series

Add to Favorites Report Listing

The Curatorial Proposal Series (CPS) at Gallery 263 enables solo artists and groups of artists of all experience levels the chance to organize and present a polished, self-curated exhibition in our 700 square foot storefront gallery, with the oversight and support of Gallery 263 staff. The CPS program is Gallery 263’s main exhibition program, and it is the only way to be considered for a proposed group or solo exhibit.

Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. The next jury session begins September 17, 2017.  Proposals submitted by that date will be considered for exhibit between January and June, 2018.

Gallery 263 seeks Curatorial Proposal exhibitions which:

  • promise contemporary, high quality, fresh and original artwork
  • present a strong curatorial thesis, and for group proposals, a tangible connection between all artists’ work
  • are a good fit for Gallery 263’s space, which work well with our diverse event programming
  • benefit the local community
