What Makes this event different?

Anyone can attend.

Art call for photographers. Learn to use personal narrative and story-telling in your work.

"Narrative Art tells a story. It uses the power of the visual image to ignite imaginations, evoke emotions and capture universal cultural truths and aspirations. What distinguishes Narrative Art from other genres is its ability to narrate a story across diverse cultures, preserving it for future generations."
Join international artist and photographer Christine Buchsbaum in the South of France for this unique narrative art program as she guides you through a journey of self-reflection. Work with your camera alongside the artist in off-the-tourist locations in Mandelieu-La Napoule and Cannes.  Discover how artists use settings, clues, and symbols to create narrative artwork. Learn about photographic techniques, composition, set-building, lighting and visual communication. Learn ways to tell your story and develop your own narrative art while enjoying the unique beauty of the French Riviera.

This workshop is geared towards anyone who is interested in poetic storytelling through visual art. Artists and students at any level are welcome.
