Event History

Known as the “Academy Awards for Art,” ACA is embarking on its 10th year of helping artists get their work in front of art-industry professionals such as art galleries, interior designers, private art collectors, and corporate collections. Each year the art competition gets better and bigger, and this year over $300,000 in awards will be given to artists through gallery contracts, purchase awards, publishing contracts, and more! For over 25 years, ADC has been dedicated to showcasing and selling the best local and regional artists' works. These artists have been placed in some of the most prestigious corporate and private collections in the country. ART COMES ALIVE allows ADC to continue its mission to help artists be more successful, introducing their work to a new audience of gallerists, collectors, and professional art buyers.

What Makes this event different?

We work throughout the year to round up awards for artists. This year we have over 100 awards and $300,000+ to give back to artists! Our diverse panel of prestigious jurors seeks artists working in a variety of subjects, media, and price points. There are categories to suit every style of art and anyone can enter - even students! Unique to ACA, our Purchase Award Partners are private and corporate collectors who pre-commit to acquiring art. This year of our $300,000+ in awards over $80,000 is already pre-committed to artwork sales.

Image Usage Rights

Images of artwork submitted will be used for publicity and be listed for six months on our ACA entrants' gallery page.

ADC, Art Design Consultants, Inc. is celebrating 10 years of awarding artists (like you) in their 2019 annual signature event, ACA, “Art Comes Alive.”  ACA is a one-of-a-kind national, juried fine-art competition and exhibition which recognizes artists from emerging to established and celebrates artists with over $300,000 in awards for their talent and dedication to their craft.
