Guilford Art Center's first Art/Craft Exhibition was held on Guilford's historic town green in 1957 and Craft Expo remains in the same location 62 years later. The current Art Center evolved from this initial event.

Unless permission is refused in writing, it is understood that the exhibitor authorizes the Guilford Art Center to reproduce application images for publicity and advertising.
Guilford Art Center's Craft Expo 2019, held in Guilford, CT on it's historic town green, is one of the Northeasts prestigious, longest running, juried Fine Art/Craft shows. The show is located on Connecticuts shoreline, half way between New York and Boston and attracts a knowledgable and loyal attendance of 7000+ patrons. Each year Craft Expo showcases high quality works by 180 artisans, including clay, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood. Proceeds from this event benefit the Art Center's educational and community programs.
