ON JUNE 1st entries for Chippendale's favorite Art Prize opens!
Founder of the Chippendale New World Art Prize and President of the Chippendale Creative Precinct, Nicky Ginsberg, invites Australian and International artists to submit a painted landscape for the 5th annual Chippendale New World Art Prize. The prize has been re-imagined this year as the Chippendale World Art Residency for artists who are eager to conquer global frontiers.
There will be three winners of the prize each awarded with 6-week artist residencies in the culturally rich and colorfully inspiring region of Provence & surrounds in southern France.
The theme for the prize is simple. Australian and International artists are invited to submit one painting of a landscape that inspires a sense of place.
