This year’s themes will celebrate the Fraser Valley with Local History, Local Preservation, Transportation and Outdoor Life. Artists will have two days to produce live art, with live music and tons of specials from local restaurants, distillery and breweries all in walking distance. Fraser Mountain Mural Festival is an exciting arts festival that takes place on the 26th and 27th of July 2019. Artists have the chance to win huge cash prizes!
Brought to you by Fraser Public Arts Committee and The Town of Fraser, Colorado, The event will showcase individual artwork on an epic scale - on 8ft x 8ft primed
panels, creating an impressive display for all who attend. The 20 artists who participate have the chance to present their creative talents for both the town’s enjoyment and
recognition of their work, as well as for the huge cash prizes on offer.
The themes for this year's event celebrate the Fraser Valley, with Local History, Local Preservation, Transportation and Outdoor Life as the four themes artists can theme
their work around. There are three generous cash prizes to be won:
1st place $2,500,
2nd place $1,300
3rd place $1,000.
Additionally, there is a bonus People’s Choice Award; the artist with the most votes wins $2,500. The same artist can win in both categories, meaning talented local artists have the chance to win up to $5000 just for participating!
The Fraser Mountain Mural Festival will generate creative energy and raise awareness for The Fraser Center for Creative Arts.
