Call for Art - for the 11th Annual MFA Online Exhibition
The 11th Annual MFA Online Exhibition titled ‘Residue’ is currently open for submissions! This international exhibit is juried and organized by graduate students from the University of Montana and Montana State University.
The exhibition provides graduate students the chance to see what their peers are creating, to connect with one another, build their resume and network. Last year, students from more than half of the MFA programs in North America, as well as from eight countries, participated. All visual art mediums are welcome.
Residue
The aftermath of events—whether within our environment, our studio practice, or ourselves—often lingers far longer than the events themselves. Residue is an online exhibition highlighting graduate students from all visual art disciplines, showcasing the ways our experiences shape us and continue to influence the present. This year’s theme encourages exploration of what remains: joy, nostalgia, anxiety, grief, anger, or otherwise—the lasting impressions embedded in our lives and identities.
Deadline: October 20
Application Fee: None
Modest $ awards for best in show, first, second, third place.
