Photographic Performance 2026: Call for Photography-Based Work

Do you have a cohesive body of work or an exhibition concept rooted in photography? We are seeking compelling solo and collaborative projects for inclusion in our online gallery.

This international call for entries welcomes a wide range of photography-based work, including traditional photographic images, mixed media incorporating photography, photographic sculpture, and photography-based installations. Artists are encouraged to push the boundaries of contemporary photography and explore the medium in innovative ways.

Now in its seventh year, Photographic Performance continues to highlight forward-thinking approaches to photographic practice. We invite artists to present work that challenges, expands, and redefines what photography can be.

A strong conceptual narrative—whether explicit or implied—is essential.

Each entry should include:

We will be selecting up to four proposals to be featured sequentially on a monthly basis beginning in July 2026.  Each selected portfolio will receive:

  • Online exhibition
  • Consultation with gallery directors concerning the project
  • GalleryTalk posted in online blog
  • Exhibition catalogue including forward by gallery directors, artist statement and exhibition images

In addition to the four entries selected for exhibition, ten additional entries will be selected by gallery directors to receive reviews of their submitted projects.

Entries are due by May 18, 2026. Entry fee is $75 per proposal.  Jurors for “Photographic Performance 2026” will be gallery directors, Amanda Smith and Kevin Tully.

Creativity is encouraged.
