UPCOMING PRINT EDITION: PHOTOGRAPHER SELECTION
Our physical edition is a solid tool to present your work to the world. Although it adopts the format of a magazine, it is conceived as an artistic and curatorial volume, designed to endure and to place each project in the context it deserves. This approach allows the work to move beyond fleeting consumption, enabling it to circulate, travel, and be discovered in spaces where contemporary photography is examined and valued in depth.
Each edition reaches curators, festival directors, galleries, and editors who are actively seeking new voices. Being selected means entering this professional circuit and positioning your work within a framework of international visibility and editorial credibility. The selection is not based solely on formal criteria, but on each project’s ability to contribute a distinctive and relevant perspective to today’s visual conversation. For this reason, becoming part of this edition means that the work does not end with print, but begins a real trajectory beyond the page.
11 YEARS CONSOLIDATING A REFERENCE PUBLICATION
This model is supported by a sustained editorial trajectory. For more than eleven years, Dodho Magazine has maintained a consistent and uninterrupted print publishing program, with thirty-five editions published and the participation of two hundred and ten photographers from twenty-eight countries across five continents. This continuity has allowed the magazine to establish a stable international presence, with thousands of printed copies in circulation and over twenty million digital readings and online views.
Throughout this journey, Dodho has established itself as a long-term editorial platform, where each project is integrated into a broad and coherent context. The strength of this approach is reflected in a key figure: eighty percent of photographers who participate for the first time return for future collaborations, demonstrating a sustained professional relationship and reinforcing Dodho’s role as a stable and relevant publication within the contemporary photography ecosystem.
A PROFESSIONAL CONTEXT FOR YOUR WORK
From this foundation, participating in a Dodho Magazine call for entries goes far beyond the isolated act of being published. Each selected project becomes part of an edition that circulates through galleries, museums, festivals, and institutions dedicated to contemporary photography worldwide, extending its visibility over time.
Dodho operates as an editorial and curatorial platform that places work within real professional contexts, where it is consulted by curators, editors, and cultural programmers. The continued presence of our editions in these spaces allows projects to maintain visibility aligned with contemporary photographic practice and to integrate into a long-term professional circuit.
