The 16th edition of the ABSTRACT International Juried Art Competition, an annual avant-garde competition hosted by TERAVARNA, is an event that rejects mediocrity and is an expression of bold creativity. TERAVARNA has awarded over $186,425 of cash prizes over the years, with abstract, figurative, floral, landscape, and experimental works receiving a spotlight over the years. Artists gain a global platform to connect with curators, increase their audience beyond their personal circle, and leave an indelible mark in the global art world.

Call for Entries: 16th Abstract International Juried Art Competition

TERAVARNA, a recognized contemporary art gallery with a global presence, invites artists to submit work for its 16th Abstract International Juried Art Competition. TERAVARNA supports artists with global exposure and recognition, and provides a platform to showcase creative talent to an international audience.

This call for entries encourages artists to explore the full spectrum of abstract art—from purely non-representational work to pieces that blend abstraction with representational elements. Artists are invited to experiment with line, color, form, texture, and dimension, pushing the boundaries of how art is perceived and expressed.

Submissions are open to both 2D and 3D artwork in any medium. We welcome bold, innovative work that challenges conventions, explores new visual languages, and evokes emotion through abstraction.

The submissions for the TERAVARNA art competition are fully digital, making it easy to compete from anywhere in the world. Post a good photograph of your artwork, making sure it is right as far as the color and the clarity are concerned, and send this via the efficient portal of TERAVARNA. Artists can work in any medium, and these include painting, sculpture, digital art, photography, mixed media, as well as fiber art, graphic design, print, and installations.

The participants can enter up to 10 pieces of their works at a fee of $20 per piece of art. Several submissions can be made to portray your creativity. The most coveted are cash prizes of up to $5,000, recognition, social media coverage, free representation on premier marketplaces like ARTSY for first, runner-up, and merit prize winners, and a special VR feature to showcase winning artworks on the gallery walls of TERAVARNA -- a true tribute to your art, which will be a permanent token of your artistic talent, excellence, and superiority.
