Open Call for Artists – YICCA 2026 International Art Competition
YICCA 2026 – International Contest of Contemporary Art is an open call for artists worldwide, offering a prestigious platform to showcase work on an international stage. This global art competition welcomes both emerging and established artists, regardless of background or location.
Artists may submit work across a wide range of contemporary art mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, graphics, mixed media, video, installation, and performance. The competition celebrates diverse artistic practices while highlighting innovation and creative expression within the contemporary art landscape.
YICCA is designed to support artists in gaining international visibility and professional recognition. Participants benefit from exposure to a global audience and access to a network of curators, critics, gallery owners, and art institutions, helping to expand career opportunities within the international art market.
Selected artists will receive significant promotional support, including inclusion in the official YICCA exhibition and publication in the YICCA catalogue, which is distributed to finalists and industry professionals during the exhibition’s inauguration.
This competition offers a valuable opportunity to increase visibility, build connections, and advance your presence in the global contemporary art scene.
Applications
The contest is open to all artists or groups of artists and professionals from any country. All kinds of contemporary artworks are allowed in the art contest: drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs, graphics, mixed media, video, installations and performances. The jury’s final decision will lead to a selection of 18 artists that will participate in the final exhibition.
Prizes
The winners will receive the following prizes:
First prize: EUR 3000,-
Second prize: EUR 1000,-
Third prize EUR 500,-
Special prize for students EUR 1000,-
Moreover, 18 finalist will be able to:
exhibit the selected artworks in Milan.
improve the relationship with critics, curators, gallery owners, public and private art institutions that will have access to this important exhibition
obtain maximum visibility through the advertising campaign that will follow the competition and all its stages
publish their works in the “YICCA” catalogue which will be distributed free of charge to the finalists and will be available for professionals and institutions invited during the inauguration of the event
