Our event aims to showcase the very best of contemporary art from across the globe.
Art Call - AIR Gallery invites artists to enter the AIR Open 2017 for an exhibit at our brand new gallery space in Trafford.
This exhibition is open to artists around the world and aims to provide an opportunity for early career and emerging artists to showcase their talents.
There is no restriction to the size or type of media that can be entered. We accept all forms of art including photography, painting, sculpture, installation, film/video, perfomative, mixed media and sound. We just ask that the work be contemporary and have stimulating and relevant themes.
Artists can enter a maximum of three artworks for consideration at the cost of £5 per work. Prizes will be awarded to works of outstanding merit, including a 4-week solo exhibition for the winning artist.
The exhibition will run from the 10th August - 30th September 2017, with a launch night on the evening of Thursday, August 10th from 6pm-9pm.
Deadline for submission is 20th July.
Please be aware that AIR Gallery takes 20% commission on any artwork sales.
