Art call for artists. Open to all artists.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities in Baltimore, Maryland (RMH) is building a new house in the historic Jonestown neighborhood of Baltimore. The location is scheduled to open in early 2019. The New House will more than double the space of the current one so that families no longer have to be turned away. Our effort to offer the most compassionate and effective family-centered care in the world will continue in this new space filled with love.
To help ensure a joyful energy within our New House, and knowing that art can help to strengthen healing and lift the human spirit, RMH seeks artists who would like to contribute artwork as part of the joyful décor. Donated art will reach a world-wide audience of RMH visitors, and the happy, colorful artwork will bring comfort to the seriously ill children and their families who call this their home-away-from-home while they receive care.
We hope to spotlight artistic diversity and fill the house with creative talent. We ask that artists consider creating an original custom art piece or donate an existing work to hang on our walls.
