Call for Entries: Botanical Art and Illustration
Las Laguna Art Gallery invites artists worldwide to submit work for All That's Pretty and Green (Botanical Art and Illustration), a juried exhibition celebrating the beauty, diversity, and artistic inspiration of the botanical world.
This open call welcomes artwork featuring plants in all their forms, from flowers, trees, leaves, and gardens to cacti, succulents, foliage, and other botanical subjects. Artists are encouraged to explore the natural world through realistic, contemporary, abstract, or illustrative approaches.
Theme: Botanical Art
Eligible submissions may feature:
- Flowers and flowering plants
- Trees and forests
- Leaves, foliage, and vines
- Cacti and succulents
- Gardens and cultivated landscapes
- Native and exotic plant life
- Botanical illustration and contemporary botanical art
Eligibility
The competition is open to local, national, and international artists, including both professional and emerging artists.

Exhibition Opportunity
Every artist who submits will have at least one artwork featured and promoted on the Las Laguna Art Gallery website.
In addition, a selection of artists will be invited to exhibit their work in person at Las Laguna Art Gallery in Las Laguna Art Gallery.

This exhibition offers artists working in botanical subjects an opportunity to showcase their work online while being considered for an in-person exhibition in Laguna Beach.
*Submission Guidelines:**
Entry Fee: $35 (up to 3 images on Cafe and Submittable) $35 (up to 5 images on EntryThingy)
- **No Online Fee**: There are no fees for your artwork for the online exhibition.
- **Wall Fee for In-Person Exhibition**: If chosen for the gallery exhibition, a wall fee will apply based on artwork size:
- Maximum size 12” - $35
- Maximum size 20” - $45
- Maximum size 30” - $50
- Maximum size 40” - $70
- For pieces larger than 40”, fees can be discussed individually.
***If selected for an in-gallery exhibition but prefer online-only participation, you can opt out to avoid wall rent and shipping fees, this switch entails no additional costs.
