pinhole: Juried Photography Exhibition
A Smith Gallery invites photographers of all experience levels to submit digital or analog pinhole photography for pinhole, a juried exhibition running January 1–February 28, 2027, in the gallery’s online exhibition space.
Eligible Work and Entry Fees
Both digital and analog pinhole images are eligible. The entry fee is $40 for the first five images and $5 for each additional image.
Photographers submitting 13 or more images are eligible for a complimentary review by the gallery directors.
Exhibition and Publication
Up to 47 images will be selected for the online exhibition. An exhibition catalogue featuring all accepted images will be available for purchase.
From the 47 selected images, 27 will be chosen for The 27, a limited-edition, hardbound fine art book featuring work from the exhibition.
All exhibited images will also be featured on A Smith Gallery’s Instagram and Facebook accounts during the exhibition.
Awards
The Juror Award and Director Award recipients will each receive a copy of the limited-edition hardbound book, an online solo exhibition, and a GalleryTalk.
The Visitors’ Award includes a $100 prize and is determined by the number of Instagram likes received.
Juror
Amanda Smith, gallery director and artist, will serve as juror.
