Altered Climate | Call For Photography

Altered Climate is an international open call exploring the environmental realities of a warming planet and the ways they are experienced, witnessed, and interpreted through photography.

Rising temperatures are reshaping landscapes, ecosystems, communities, and the environments we inhabit. Forest fires, drought, extreme weather, damaged habitats, and other acute disasters increasingly affect our relationship with the natural world. Some changes unfold gradually; others arrive suddenly and leave visible traces of destruction and loss. Human activity is deeply entangled with many of these transformations.

For Altered Climate, Artdoc Photography Magazine invites photographers and visual artists to submit work responding to global warming, ecological disruption, environmental loss, forest fires, heatwaves, and natural disasters intensified or caused by human activity.

The open call welcomes a broad range of photographic approaches, from documentary and art photography to altered images, abstraction, experimental practices, and constructed work. Submissions may address environmental change directly through landscapes, communities, ecosystems, or sites of disaster, or approach the subject from a personal and subjective perspective.

By submitting your work, you gain the opportunity to be featured in our curated online exhibitions. Additionally, selected submissions may be highlighted in upcoming issues of our online digital magazine, with the chance to be invited for an interview to share your creative journey.
