Event History
The winner is honored with the Alain Verschoren Award, named after Prof. Dr. Alain Verschoren, the first Chairman of the PCU Contest Selection Commission. He initiated the idea of the contest as Rector of the University of Antwerp in 2019

Entering the contest is free and open for students, athlets, university professionals, hobby photographers and professional photographers. Panathlon International is recognised by the International Olympic Committee
Copyright Policy
All entries must be an original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. Each entrant retain the copyright of the submitted images. The entrant certifies the work as his own. By entering the Contest you grant the PCU Committee and its media partners the right for unlimited non-exclusive use for any material you submit, post, upload, email or otherwise transmit for promotional purposes and for reproducing free of charge. The photo cannot contain watermarks, copyrights or added logos.
The AP|PCU Student Photo Contest is a yearly contest where students, athletes, university professionals, hobby photographers and even professional photographers are invited to make photos related to fair play in university sport.
The theme of the Contest is: “Fair Play in University Sports”. Photography should be artistic and related to the theme of the Contest.
Photos can be submitted by filling out the registration form on our website or by posting your picture on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #PCUpic.
The winning photographers are honored with Contest Awards up to € 500. The registration deadline for the 2023-2024 contest is 1 April 2024.
