The 12th edition of FLOWER International Juried Art Competition by TERAVARNA is a celebration of the dynamic use of botanical art to express individuality in art and the infinite ways that it can influence the perception of the visual world. TERAVARNA has given out over $186,425 in cash prizes over the years in various categories. The platform allows artists from all over the world and helps them to reach out to curators, to people outside their own communities, and to get into the global art scene.

Call for Entries: 12th FLOWER International Juried Art Competition

TERAVARNA invites artists worldwide to submit original work for the 12th FLOWER International Juried Art Competition, an online competition celebrating the beauty, diversity, and artistic inspiration of flowers and botanical subjects. Open to both emerging and established artists, this international call welcomes creative interpretations of floral themes across a wide range of artistic styles and media.

Flowers have long inspired artists through their color, symbolism, structure, and connection to nature. Whether exploring botanical realism, expressive floral compositions, abstract interpretations, or conceptual works, artists are encouraged to present original artwork in which flowers are the central visual element. From vibrant blooms to subtle natural forms, the competition welcomes fresh perspectives and imaginative approaches to this timeless subject.

Artists may submit representational, abstract, or conceptual artwork in 2D or 3D formats. All artistic media are welcome, including painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, mixed media, fiber art, printmaking, and installation-based work. AI-generated artwork is not eligible.

The competition is conducted entirely online, making participation accessible to artists around the world. High-quality digital images of artwork can be submitted through TERAVARNA's online entry system.

Awards & Entry Information

• Cash awards of up to $5,000

• International promotional exposure through TERAVARNA's marketing platforms

• Six months of featured representation on ARTSY for First Prize, Runner-up, and Merit Award recipients

• Entry fee: US$20 per artwork

• Up to 10 artworks may be included in each submission, with additional submissions permitted
