Art in Odd Places, was founded by NYC artist, Ed Woodham, and is led by Executive Director, Furusho von Puttkammer Art in Odd Places aims to stretch the boundaries of communication in the public realm by presenting artwork in all disciplines outside the confines of traditional public space regulations. AiOP isi there to remind us that public spaces function as the epicenter for diverse social interactions and the unfettered exchange of ideas. Art in Odd Places is fiscally sponsored by GOH Productions, and supported, in part, by public funds from New York State Council on the Arts and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, and private donors.

Art in Odd Places is a 100% volunteer-run, community-oriented organization.

Art Call 2022 - Art in Odd Places
Art in Odd Places (AiOP) 2022: STORY scheduled for September 23-25, 2022 will be curated by Atlanta based artist, Jessica Elaine Blinkhorn. Art in Odd Places invites imaginative proposals by artists from the Disabled, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and Allied communities that tell her, his, their STORY(Community. Identity. Endurance. Merit. Perception) for its seventeenth annual public visual and performance art festival taking place along 14th Street in Manhattan, NY – from Avenue C to the Hudson River.
