TERAVARNA returns with its 14th Animal Juried Art Competition—a global stage for art inspired by the animal kingdom. Over time, the platform has awarded more than $10,000 in cash prizes, helping artists gain international exposure and grow their creative careers. Beyond animal art, TERAVARNA also hosts themed competitions in figurative, floral, color, and landscape categories, opening multiple pathways for artists worldwide to showcase their work.

Call for Entries: 14th Animal International Juried Art Competition
TERAVARNA invites artists worldwide to submit original artwork for the 14th Animal International Juried Art Competition, an online competition celebrating artistic interpretations of animals and the natural world.
Open to both emerging and established artists, the competition welcomes creative work featuring wildlife, domestic animals, birds, insects, marine life, and other animal subjects. Artists are encouraged to explore the beauty, diversity, behavior, and habitats of animals through their own artistic style and perspective.
Theme: Animal Art
Eligible submissions may include, but are not limited to:
Wildlife and nature
Domestic animals and pets
Birds and marine life
Insects and pollinators
Endangered species
Animal portraits
Abstract or conceptual interpretations of animal subjects

The competition is open to both 2D and 3D artwork, including:

This is a fully online competition. Artists submit high-quality digital images of their original artwork, eliminating the need to ship physical pieces during the jury process.
Awards and Recognition
Selected artists will compete for cash awards of up to $5,000 and receive additional recognition through certificates, online promotion, and exhibition opportunities.
The First Prize, Runner-up, and Merit Award recipients will also receive a six-month featured presentation on Artsy, providing additional international visibility for their work.

Maximum: Up to 10 artworks per entry
Additional entries may be submitted without limit
