3 Square Art is the newest and premier Contemporary Art Center and Gallery in Northern Colorado featuring 6-7 physical annual exhibition. Our exhibits are superbly curated to highlight the best artists and their work. With hundreds of visitors each month, each exhibit is an opportunity to have your artwork shown and potentially sold by the gallery. Additionally, we offer continued exposure after each exhibit through our online Consignment and Giftshop programs.

Get ready for our most vibrant, powerful, and anticipated exhibition of the year at 3 Square Art Gallery—This year’s exhibit promises to be an explosion of nuanced and complex colors for a sensory feast that transcends traditional boundaries. Splashes of color, dabs of color, lines of colors, colored fabric, colored hair, color color color! Go full force into the world of color and bathe in this showcase of creativity! This exhibit is going to highlight color in every way. The 7th Annual COLOR Exhibit is here this May 2024!
Color is an integral element of artistic expression and finds its roots in the fundamental teachings of art theory. Venture back to the foundations of art where the color wheel, primary colors, and secondary colors dance on the canvas creating a symphony of visual delight. An entire generation of artists who pioneered Color Field painting during the transformative 50s and 60s. Icons like Mark Rothko, Joan Miró, Jackson Pollock, Helen Frankenthaler, and Clyfford Still left an indelible mark on the art world, paving the way for the contemporary exploration of color. Today's artists harness a myriad of unconventional materials and tools – electronics, neon, LEDs, Post-It notes, computers, videos, and markers – to create a symphony of color that transcends the boundaries of imagination.
