Event History
The Image & Neige Festival has been held for 16 years. Originally dedicated to wildlife photography in snowy environments, it has gradually opened up to nature in all its forms, then to poetic abstraction, night photography, and macro studies of snow and ice. Today, the festival explores urban snowscapes, sports, and human presence, while staying true to its naturalist and animal-focused origins.
What Makes this event different?
Image & Neige is the only European photo festival entirely dedicated to snow and ice. Founded 16 years ago, it offers a curated selection of 200 works per edition, displayed in both indoor venues and outdoor XXL formats. Over the past three years, more than 600 French artists have submitted their work. In 2025, the festival opens its call to international artists for the first time. Selected participants are exhibited in Haute-Savoie under real snowy conditions.
