Event History

NOICE has been running since 2015. In that time it has grown into a collection featuring photographers from every corner of the world - some well known, many not yet. Career stage has never been the point. The work is the point.

What Makes this event different?

NOICE is for photographers who make work that doesn't quite fit anywhere else. For the person whose portfolio confuses people in the best way. For anyone who has ever thought: I don't know what to call this, but I know it's right. It is also for the people who simply love looking at photographs - who want a reliable place to find something surprising, something funny, something human. We have been that place for ten years and intend to keep being it.

Image Usage Rights

By submitting photos for publication in NOICE Magazine you are stipulating to us that you own copyright to the photographs or have permission from the copyright holder to submit these photographs. You are granting NOICE Magazine a non-exclusive license to use the photograph in its submitted form, subject to re-sizing to fit the magazine format, for publication on the NOICE website for as long as the website exists. Please note that back issues of NOICE may remain available in the archive for as long as the website exists. If an image is used as a cover to the magazine you are granting NOICE Magazine permission to use it for promotion on sites such as facebook.com and to put the NOICE logo on it. None of the photographs may be downloaded, stored, printed, manipulated, distributed, or used in any form without prior written permission from the copyright holder.

Submissions to NOICE are open to anyone. There are no requirements around career stage, equipment, location, or style. What matters is the work itself. If the photographs feel honest and belong in the archive, they’ll be considered.

For more than a decade, NOICE has been built around a particular way of seeing—the everyday, the absurd, the beautiful, and the mundane. Moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. If your work carries that sense of curiosity, we’d love to see it.

There are two ways to submit your work:

Standard Submission — $10
Submit up to 20 images for consideration. If selected, your work will be featured on the website and shared across NOICE social channels. Typical response time is about one week.

Portfolio Review — $50
Includes everything in the standard submission, plus a personal written review of your work. You’ll receive specific feedback, notes on your strongest images, and an honest assessment of the series. These submissions move to the front of the queue, and review slots are limited.
