Why apply now for 2026/27? This early selection process provides the necessary time for the creative development of the haute couture collections and secures your place in the 2027 official exhibition calendar.

Programming of physical exhibitions to begin after October 2026. Prior to that date, participating artists will be able to exhibit virtually at international events, such as a holographic exhibition during the Cannes Film Festival and a digital screen exhibition at The Haute Couture Boat event in Paris.

  • Official Certification: An International Residency Certificate to boost the artist’s professional CV.
  • Masterclasses: Exclusive rights to host paid workshops or masterclasses at our Lisbon venue. These activities will be scheduled during off-peak hours, ensuring the artist has a quiet and exclusive environment for teaching, without interfering with the daily operations of the gallery and showroom.

Financial Terms:

• Residency Investment: €250 per month (12-month commitment).
• Payment Options: Upfront payment at the start of the residency.
• Sales Commissions:
  • Artworks: The gallery retains a 20% commission.
  • Haute Couture Collection: The artist receives 30% of the net profit from the sale of the pieces.

All participating artists in this program will be automatically nominated for the Saint Michel Honor Prize in the 'Lifetime Achievement' category for visual artists. This prestigious award ceremony will take place during the period between the Cannes Film Festival and The Haute Couture Boat in Paris, offering significant international recognition. The winner of this category will be awarded a monetary prize of 1000 EUR to career support. The awards ceremony will take place aboard The Haute Couture Boat in Paris in October 3rd.
