ROAR: Cat-Themed Art Call for Entries

Wild Heart Gallery invites artists and photographers to submit original artwork featuring wild cats, stray cats, and domestic cats for ROAR, a virtual art exhibition celebrating the many forms and behaviors of felines.

Cats of all species, shapes, and sizes are welcome. Submissions may portray any aspect of feline behavior or character. Roaring is not required; the goal is to capture the true spirit of the cat.

Eligible Artwork

The call is open to a wide range of media and techniques, including:

• 2D and 3D artwork

• Printmaking, sculpture, pastels, and mixed media

• Ceramics

• Original digital art (AI-generated artwork is not accepted)

Works may be created in any style, provided they include an animal that fits the theme. All entries must feature an animal and be original work created by the submitting artist. Artists must accurately disclose the materials and tools used to create their submissions.

Awards

Awards will recognize Best Wild Cat Art and Best Domestic Cat Art.

Exhibition Format

ROAR will be presented as a virtual art exhibition on the Wild Heart Gallery website and across the gallery’s social media channels.
