The Sony Future Filmmaker Awards celebrate the filmmakers shaping the cinematic landscape of tomorrow. Free to enter and aimed at independent filmmakers worldwide, the program consists of six categories: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Animation, Immersive, Student, and Future Format. 

 

The shortlisted filmmakers are flown to Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California, to attend an awards ceremony and a bespoke industry immersion program comprising exclusive workshops led by Sony Pictures executives, masterclasses, panel discussions, tours, screenings and Q&As.
