The 11th edition of COLOR International Juried Art Competition by TERAVARNA is a celebration of the dynamic use of color to express individuality in art and the infinite ways that it can influence the perception of the visual world. TERAVARNA has given out over $186,425 in cash prizes over the years in various categories. The platform enables artists all over the world and assists them in connecting with curators, expanding their reach beyond their own circles, and establishing a presence in the global art ecosystem.

Submit artwork exploring color, visual expression, and creativity for a chance to win up to $5,000 in cash prizes. TERAVARNA invites artists worldwide to submit work for the 11th COLOR International Juried Art Competition, an international art competition celebrating the expressive power of color in contemporary art.

Color is one of the most influential elements of visual expression. It can communicate emotion, establish atmosphere, shape perception, and guide the viewer's experience of an artwork. This competition encourages artists to explore the creative possibilities of color as a primary visual force, whether through bold contrasts, subtle tonal relationships, vibrant palettes, or minimalist approaches. Artists are invited to interpret the theme freely. Entries may examine color as emotion, symbolism, mood, energy, memory, culture, or abstraction. Whether representational, abstract, or conceptual, successful submissions will demonstrate a thoughtful and compelling use of color within the overall composition.

The competition is open to both 2D and 3D artwork in a wide range of media, including:

  All subject matter is welcome provided that color plays a significant role in the artwork's visual impact and artistic intent. Selected artists will gain international exposure through TERAVARNA's exhibition and promotional platforms. Awards include up to $5,000 in cash prizes, recognizing outstanding achievement across a diverse range of artistic styles and media. Artists from around the world are encouraged to submit original artwork that demonstrates creativity, technical skill, and a compelling exploration of color as an essential element of visual art.

The competition has a fully online submission process and is easy to access by artists worldwide. Participants can upload high-quality images of their work through TERAVARNA’s streamlined system, making it easy to enter and showcase their creations. All artists are encouraged to join, irrespective of their background or level of experience, and help make a varied and dynamic portfolio of color-centered artworks.

Each artist can enter a maximum of 10 artworks with an entry fee of $20 per artwork. This enables the participants to portray a unified collection of work or explore various interpretations of color in their portfolio. The competition is going to award cash prizes of up to $5000, and rich promotional coverage through TERAVARNA’s global marketing platforms.

The winning and selected artists will acquire international recognition through the social media platforms of TERAVARNA, and first place, runners-up, and merit winners have a free ARTSY representation. Moreover, winning entries will be exhibited in an immersive VR showcase.
