The Naples Art Association's Founders Exhibitions are held during even-numbered years, as a way of honoring the artists who joined together in 1954 and formed the Naples Art Association, the first non-profit visual arts organization in Collier County Florida.
Call to Artists.
The Naples Art Association is currently accepting entries for the 53rd Founders Juried Awards Exhibition, which is a national exhibition that is open to artists residing in the United States. The Juried Award Exhibition features nine cash awards totaling $3,500. The brick-and-mortar exhibition will schedule to be on view in Naples, FL Dec. 6th, 2019 - Jan. 9th, 2020 and it will feature all media, subject matter and genres of artwork created after Jan. 1st, 2015.
The jurors are: John Loscuito, Art Gallery Director, Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers; R.W. Lovejoy, Professor at American University in Washington, D.C. and Erin Palmer Szavuly, Associate Professor and Art Dept. Chairperson at Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio.
The non-profit Naples Art Association is located in the heart of the 5th Avenue South shopping, dining, and entertainment district. The association is celebrating its 65th year as the premier visual arts organization in the City of Naples.
Submit one or two artworks in either the 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional artwork category.
