Call for Entry - Artist Residency
The Farm Margaret River serves as both a functioning agricultural property and a hub for artistic endeavors, aiming to deepen the understanding of our relationship with the land through creative expressions. Annually, it welcomes artists and collaborators from local, national, and international backgrounds to engage with its dynamic and historic landscape. These participants are encouraged to produce artwork that is directly inspired by and integrated with the distinct characteristics of this location.
The residency runs over an eight-week period, during which time visual artists are hosted in self-contained studios. In addition to accommodation and support for travel, if required, the successful artist or group receives a grant of $7,500 to cover out-of-pocket expenses.
In 2025, the Funded Residency program is focused on the visual arts including (but not limited to) painting, sculpture, photography, film, printmaking, ceramics and land art. The Funded Residency is an inclusive program, and creatives of all backgrounds and professional stages are encouraged to apply.
