Homiens Art Prize
The Homiens Art Prize is an international, non-acquisitive art prize offering more than $12,000 USD in unrestricted funding annually. Open to artists working in all art forms, the prize provides cash awards, exhibition opportunities, artist features, and other forms of professional recognition. Artists retain full ownership of their work.
Early Bird entry rates are currently available. The entry fee will return to the standard rate at the end of September.
Eligibility
The Homiens Art Prize is open internationally to artists working in all art forms. Works completed in any year are eligible.
Prizes and Recognition
Each round, 10 winning artists will exhibit with Homiens as part of its quarterly exhibition program. Each winning artist receives:
$300 USD unrestricted cash award
Opportunity to participate in the optional The Art of Art: Interviews artist interview series
The opportunity to request a letter of recommendation from the jurors
In addition, up to 200 highly commended artists per round may be featured through Homiens' media channels, including its website and mailing list.
Every entrant may also request a participation certificate, which can be used as documentation of professional artistic engagement.
Additional Opportunities
The prize offers further opportunities for international visibility through initiatives including the curated Meet the Artists feature and Promoted Artists program.
Entry Fees
The standard entry fee is:
$30 for 1 artwork
$20 for each additional artwork
The 6th and 12th entries are free
Homiens also makes a limited number of free, no-questions-asked submissions available during each round. If this option is no longer visible on the Homiens Submittable portal, the allocation for the current round has been exhausted.
