New Emergence Art Prize 2026 – International Open Call for Emerging Artists
The New Emergence Art Prize 2026 is an international open call for emerging artists working in any medium. With no set theme, the prize invites artists worldwide to submit work that reflects the quality, originality, and direction of their practice.
This online prize is designed to remove geographic barriers and provide emerging artists with opportunities for visibility, recognition, and professional support.
Awards & Opportunities
The prize fund totals £5,000+, with 9 awards supporting artists through a combination of:
- Cash prizes
- Artist materials
- Mentoring opportunities
- A residency opportunity
Artists may submit up to three artworks. Submissions should represent the artist’s current practice and demonstrate strong conceptual and technical quality.
Selection Process
An independent panel of judges will select shortlisted and winning artists based on:
- Concept
- Execution
- Originality
- Overall impact
Exhibition & Sales
Shortlisted artists will be included in an online exhibition presented by New Emergence Art.
Unlike traditional gallery models, New Emergence Art operates on a 10% commission on sales, allowing artists to retain the majority of revenue while supporting platform and administrative costs.
Artists are responsible for packaging and shipping any sold works, with arrangements coordinated following sale confirmation.
