Event History
Started in 2021, The Wild Lens Magazine Wildlife Photographer of the Year is The Wild Lens Magazine in partnership with Ranjan Ramchandani Safaris. We received entries from 27 countries and 5 continents. The crescendo was the category winners being published in the January issue and being part of an exhibit with metal prints by Bay Photo Lab. Subsequent finalists were published in The Wild Lens throughout the year.
What Makes this event different?
We showcase photographers from all around the world. This photography contest is all about the photographers. Many never gotten published and we have published many of the submitted contest images. Exhibit inclusion is also unique. A trip to photograph in Alaska is VERY sought after.

Call for Entry to All Wildlife Photographers
The Wild Lens Magazine Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2021 is a contest features the following categories: Mammals, Birds, Macro, Underwater, Youth, and Black and White.
The overall winner will receive a trip to Cook Inlet, Alaska to photograph Grizzly Bears at a luxury bear camp. The trip is valued at $5000. All winners in each category receive $100, $50, and $25 gift certificates, respectively. Award certificates, inclusion in a live exhibit in California, USA with metal prints by Bay Photo Lab.
